Children love this fast-paced, high-energy music and creative movement program! The components of the Tot Rock and Kid Rock programs are carefully crafted to introduce toddlers and preschoolers to the wonderful world of music, while encouraging a positive attitude and increasing self-confidence. Each session includes coaching in:
- Songs
- Fingerplays
- Basic dance steps and rhythms
- Gross
motor skills and coordination

most importantly....
- Imagination Play!
Kid Rock: Exciting Explorations!
If your child likes music and likes to explore, then Kid Rock is just what you are looking for! “Exciting Explorations” is our theme this fall! Explorations will include: a pumpkin patch, outer space, the ocean, an apple orchard, and much more! We will combine imaginative play and fun and learning with songs and rhymes, rhythm instruments and props, gross motor skills and movements. Sing, dance, and play the Rock-It way! Sign up for both fall sessions as there will be a new exploration each week.
Tot Rock: Rhyme Time!
Rhymin’ and rockin’ and singin’ songs; having fun all day long! You and your tot will delight in exploring classic nursery rhymes in this one-of-a-kind musical adventure known as Tot Rock! We will play with rhythm instruments like bells and clackers, share props like balls and beanbags, and explore sensory items like bubbles and feathers. In addition to improving you tot’s newly-acquired motor skills, we provide structured and unstructured time to encourage socialization. Tot Rock time is “Rhyme Time” this fall! Sign up for both fall sessions as the re will be a new rhyme each week.
As usual, Rocket, our cuddly puppy playmate, will be joining in with the fun! Check out Rocket in our shop and get your child a cute companian to take along on his or her own adventures!
Our Fall 2008 session schedule will be available on the website by August 10th. Please check back for a time and location near you. Classes are held once each week for 40 minutes and are divided into three to four age groups, depending on location:
- Tot Rock
- For children who can walk up to 20 months, with parent participation.
- Kid Rock I
- For children 20-36 months, with parent participation.
- Kid
Rock II
- For children 30-60 months, without parent participation.
- Kid Rock III
- For children 20 months to 5 years, with parent participation. This class is geared for siblings and older children not quite ready to separate from mom or dad.
