The components of the Tot Rock and Kid Rock programs are carefully crafted to introduce toddlers and preschoolers to the wonderful world of music, while encouraging a positive attitude and increasing self-confidence. Each session includes coaching in:

Fall 2010 Tot Rock and Kid Rock:
Rhyming Rocks!
"Rhyming Rocks" this fall in Tot Rock and Kid Rock as each week we will explore a new nursery rhyme! The Rockers will be learning "classics" like Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, The Itsy Bitsy Spider, Mary Had a Little Lamb and many more! The Tot Rockers will be enjoying songs and activities about aspects of the rhyme while using simple instruments and sensory items. Kid Rockers will be using their imaginations to act out the rhyme while incorporating motor skills, more advanced instruments and movement props.
Rhyming is extremely beneficial to the growth and development of young children. Not only is it fun, it is a great teaching tool and motivator for learning! Rhyming is important to emergent literacy and learning to read because it teaches children the sound and patterns of language. Enroll in "Rhyming Rocks" this fall, and watch your child grow in leaps and bounds! It's learning and fun rolled into one!

Classes are held once each week for 40 minutes and are divided into three to four age groups, depending on location:
- Tot Rock
- For children who can walk up to 24 months, with parent participation.
- Kid Rock I
- For children 20-36 months, with parent participation.

Kid Rock II
- For children 2.5 - 4.5 years old, without parent participation.
- Kid Rock III
- For children 20 months to 5 years, with parent participation. This class is geared for siblings and older children not quite ready to separate from mom or dad.
