Class Status for Friday, January 23 and Saturday, January 24, 2026

Hello Rock 'n' Kids Families!

With the upcoming weather, there have been questions about classes. I wanted to explain how this works.

Even though schools are closing, park districts are remaining open (with a few exceptions). The schools close primarily to keep walkers and bus riders safe. Park districts don't have that concern. It's different with a lot of snow that makes roads hazardous--then the park districts usually close also. 

With that in mind, please see the Friday and Saturday classes below to check on the status:

Friday Classes:

Barrington Park District--CLASSES CANCELLED; make up class scheduled for Friday, February 20

Glen Ellyn Park District--CLASSES CANCELLED; make up class scheduled for Friday, February 20

Carol Stream Park District--Classes running as usual.

Wilmette Park District--Classes running as usual.

Elmhurst Park District--Classes running as usual.

Park Ridge Park District--Classes running as usual. 

Saturday Classes:

Lindenhurst Classes--Start time was pushed back 2 hours; Tot Rock will be from 11:30 - 12:10 p.m. and Family Rock will be from 12:15 - 12:55 p.m. 

Buffalo Grove Park District--Classes running as usual.

Vaughan Athletic Center--Classes running as usual. 

Bartlett Park District--Classes running as usual.
